Walks, Talks & Workshops

 

Herb walks and workshops  run throughout the year, they can be a local walk to identify and collect medicinal wild plants, or can also be accompanied afterwards by a making session where we can explore ways of using hedgerow and native plants as medicines.

 

Talks can be arranged for small or large groups, and also for younger groups - schools, girl guides etc. Talks for adults cover subjects such as the Healing powers of Herbs,  and for younger age groups can include botany  in the field ( or school yard!) and ethnobotany

 

I also speak about my family history around Shaftesbuty, Motcombe and Enmore Green where many generations of my family practised as lay midwives and herbalists
